A PRIVATE AFFAIR - 2014

Having had such wonderful success with "A Galway Girl" in 2013, the festival circuit in 2014 was always going to be a huge challenge for D.A.D.S. It was our first time to compete in the Open section and although we were prepared for a baptism of fire, when the inevitable happened it was nonetheless something of a dissapointment. That said the cast and crew really enjoyed the farce " A Private Affair" and the response we got from audiences the length and breadth of the country was more than encouraging. Needless to say we didn't gain any points from the adjudicators but we acquitted ourselves well and made many new friends on the Open Circuit. We enjoyed a wonderful night in Dunmore when we were joined by Clann Machua from Kiltimagh with their production of the hilarious "Pregnancy, Conception and Bert" for a night of comedy that will long be remembered by a wonderfully appreciative audience.

And to all our loyal suporters we say - It doesn't end here! We'll be back in 2015!!
